The perfect wheel thrown canvas for my hand drawn slip trailing work and your favorite treats.

Each small bites plate starts as a lump of moist clay that is shaped on the potter's wheel. Once the clay stiffens, the wide foot is trimmed, and the lip is cut and pitched. Colored slip dots and lines were applied with a metal-tipped slip trailer, wrapping the piece in pattern that is both tactile and beautiful.

The plate is glaze fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. Glazes are lead free and food safe. It is dishwasher safe but I always suggest hand-washing to protect delicate edges.

The plate measures ~ 8.25 inches wide by 1.5 inches high. Perfect size for a lite lunch or array of snacks.
