Perfect little bowl for savory dips, sweet treats, or the perfect dollop of homemade ice cream.

Each sweets bowl starts as a lump of moist clay that is shaped on the potter's wheel. Once the clay stiffens, the narrow foot is trimmed, the side are darted, and then the lip is cut and pitched. Colored slip dots and lines were applied with a metal-tipped slip trailer, wrapping the piece in pattern that is both tactile and beautiful.

The bowl is glaze fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. Glazes are lead free and food safe. It is dishwasher safe but I always suggest hand-washing to protect delicate edges.

Sweets bowls measure ~4 inches wide x 3 inches tall.
